On April fools day we teased the boys with a few minor tricks and explained to them that it was April 1st and that it was a day the people like to play jokes on others. We explained that the jokes should not be serious or mean, but nice and funny.
Mamos and Poppa came down and when they walked in the house the boys ran towards them, then stopped and said April fools!
I picked up Aiden early from school and we went and picked out a Birthday Cake for Jacob. Aiden's teachers said that he was doing April fools things all day. While at the Bakery we found these Croc. cakes, I bought 3 of them and some trick Candles.
I lighted the candles and we sang "happy April fools day to you," then the boys blew out the candles. They went out! I said "lets do it again." WE sang slower this time and then blew out the candles and they sparked and burned again. The boys loved it, Jack Jack was so funny, he blew and blew and never understood, but really didn't care, that all his blowing was in vain!
