Side note: notice how beautiful those wood floors are (look past the lawn chairs and the train tracks on the floor). You can't really tell but they start in the middle and circle outward my Great Great Grandfather layed those floors... I love that! My Dad was born in this room. WOW, thank goodness for hospitals!
My mom got out the good stuff, and we toasted a "happy valentines" to each other, clicked glasses than drank. Finally it was getting a bit ridiculous so my dad said "to everyone, happy valentines" and we were done. The boys love to drink from the special glasses.
The deer must be pretty hungry this year, they came pretty close to the house and have stayed awhile. Well all but the one that got a little to close to the road, that made seven. He has been replaced, my mom said that now there were 9 just hanging out by the house. I am sure they make there way down to the barn... They fight the turkeys for the feed my dad spreads down!!!
On my way up Sardine Canyon, I notice a woman pulled over taking pictures... I thought have people not seen deer before, my goodness she is going to cause an accident, I looked up at what she was taking a picture of and it was a huge bull elk, HUGE!

I bet you’re really glad to have your baby home. You are so lucky to get those nice breaks. Your parents are so great the grandkids just whenever. I can't believe how close those deer got. That's crazy! Well, we need our refill of Jack Jack. Let’s get the boys together soon.
That's an awesome picture of those deer.
WoW! Interesting facts about the room in the photo.
I can't belive that the deer get that close. They must be really hungry!
I love that your parents take Jack. Grandparents are so great!
have you taken the boys up lake creek to see the Elk herd? They tally at about 200 head. they are just below my Mother in laws off 3600. just before dusk is the best time to go. Very cool! Looks like you had a good time at your moms!
