Not Available in Stores

This morning Jacob was quite excited about something downstairs. He asked daddy to come and see it several times, but daddy told Jacob that he was busy reading and to wait. He even came up to my bed and said mama, then as I pretended to be asleep he asked Aiden, "do you want to come and see something?" Then Jacob said, "are you still tired Aiden, you can wait until you wake up." I got up and went downstairs and spoke with Brian for a bit, when Jacob came and asked Brian if he was done reading. Brian said, while reading from his phone, "does it look like I am done reading." At this point I could see that Jacob was desperate to show someone this 'thing.' I told him I would come and look, then said thinking it was a picture he had drawn "can you bring it upstairs?" Jacob said no it is on TV. Brian then realizing that it was important to Jacob and not wanting me to look like the better parent said, I didn't know it was on TV and we both went downstairs.

Jacob had paused the TV, it had been advertising an infomercial for "Smart Lidz." Jacob quickly unpaused the TV and we began to watch. I watched Jacob more than I watched the TV, he was amazed with these "Lidz." They would show a feature and he would look at me like, see isn't that amazing! I even jumped a little when one of the dishes got knocked off the counter, thinking it would spill. Jacob turned to me and in his best infomercial voice said "see it doesn't spill." Wow that is amazing I said.

Jacob had written down the phone number to call on a piece of paper. The biggest selling point in his eyes, was the fact that it turned rotten strawberries back into fresh strawberries in just 5 days. I tried to explain to him that they were two different sets of Strawberries and that it was only showing that they keep for longer with the "lidz" vs plastic wrap. Jacob also mentioned that if we call now we get 4 more absolutely free!

"Mama can we call please please." I told him to call mamos, knowing that my mother would love to hear this story. Jacob, after explaining the infomercial to Mamos handed me the phone, she said in the cute I love my grandson voice "they are only $10, I pay for half." We then looked online at how much the shipping and Handling was and at $7.95 for each set of 4, my mom said maybe they are in the stores. Flashing at the top of the online page "Not available in Stores." He was so cute about it, the link is below; go onto the link and check out this amazing product. It actually has the commercial running when you log onto it.

I would buy them if they were sold in the stores!
It fits anything! I guess it is huge with Recycle people.

Jacob is such a little sweetie. He was only thinking of you and the mess you wouldn't have to clean up!
