Laundry

I actually enjoy doing wash and folding clothes... when I am alone and I can put on a good Quilting show and get it all done.
It is the putting away and starting all over again because of a huge mess that has been made or an accident that I don't like!
The worst is to be caught up on Laundry for the week and "know that you don't have to do it for at least 3-4 more days." Then your husband comes home from a trip and gives you the "Hilton" bag! You know the cute little bags they hang up in your nice hotel room so you can put your dirty laundry in it and bring it home so your wife will never catch up!

This time Brian not only brought home 3 Hilton bags, he also brought home a Marriott bag. He didn't stay in the Marriott on this trip. This was from another trip that he just forgot about, and brought home after he cleaned out the airplane for his "charter" flight today. It must be rough to own enough clothing, including undergarments to be able to go for two weeks and never have to do wash, just add it to another little white hotel bag and bring it on home.
Well at least I don't have to stay in these hotel rooms, with a maid picking up after me and the bath butler coming in to make my bath for me... At least I don't have to do that and I can stay home with my kids! Wait I am the maid and the bath butler at home!
I love you Brian and I am glad you sacrifice so much to keep me happy at home!!!
PS for all of those who don't know me very well, this is all a tease to Brian...

I guess I should be more grateful that Lyn likes do to his own laundry, except his underwear which I do with the rest of the whites. His Mom taught him young, and he still likes to do his own batch. More power to him, I think my boys will learn that skill too. I'm sure their wives would appreicate it!

Jen is that a hint hint?!? I'm making curtains for a lady I work with right now... but if you want some plastic covers, I'm sure I could figure something out!

I was in the University Mall today in the restroom. I was alone, no kids, so of course my mind is my own and I was thinking.
I was thinking as I was in the restroom "Is there really bath butlers like Jen says there is? If there is, I would not want one, they would NEVER get the temperature the way I like it. I would have to pretend I liked cold water so I wouldn't hurt the bath butlers' feelings. Yeah, I must be right, I would never want a bath butler."
See how I talked myself right out of that? I am so good at that.
Funny I was thinking of that today and then read about Poor Brian and his bath butler, I bet Brian never gets a bath at the right temp when he is gone. He must enjoy coming home from being so pampered just so he can draw his own bath!!

Poor Poor Brian!! That is funny. He is living the dream. I have to ask, what man takes a bath let alone has one drawn??? I am laughing because my Dad and Mark think baths are for woman and till this day My Dad has never soaked in a tub and neither has Mark since we have been married. I remember my Dad asking, "Why would you want to soak in your own dirt". It actually made sense for a second.....and then the thought of soothing hot water overcame me and I realized it was worth it.

Can Brain even fit in a tub with his long legs? :):):):):):):):) Tell him I am just teasing him too!

All the Rowser boys love a long hot bath. For relaxing purposes, not for washing. YUCK! Anyway, Brian likes the huge jacuzy tubs they have in the hotels because he actually fits. He has the Large plazma screen, remote and a bath pillow! Scary picture I just painted, lets put lots of bubbles too! BETTER picture!

The motels we usually stay in generally have a number like 6 or 8 in them and I really don't remember any laundry bags. We just have to make due with the plastic bags you get from the grocery store. I know Brian works hard but it's almost a shame that he enjoys it so much. But then I wouldn't want him to be miserable either. Hey, at least he brings you home all those little bottles of shampoo and lotion. I get dibs on all the grapefruit scented shampoo.
