Today has been a great day. I had to make a choice, a really tough choice, whether or not to go and listen to my mother in law speak at women's conference. The other hard part is all the other sisters will be there too.
Could I have made it work - YES (it ended up that Brian came home)
Would it have been Hard - YES
Would it have been worth it - YES
Good, Better, Best... In this case I am not sure what was the Best choice. I do know that I did have a wonderful day with Brian, who just got back yesterday. I also know that I caught up on Laundry, we bought Brian a new suit, picked up the boys from school, played games, helped with homework, made a nice dinner, and we laughed a lot. Now it is crunch time to make sure everything is ready for the baptism tomorrow.
OH Jacob wanted Brian to show him what he was going to do, they practiced in the kitchen. They both GLOWED, Jacob was so beautiful, he Glowed. Brian and Jacob both instantly had that smile, you know the one where they are both so happy, but as proud men they try and hide it.... but it doesn't work.
I missed you girls, I missed you Janis, sorry I didn't make it, I hope you will forgive me.
Love you

O Jenny! We all missed having you there, but I am so glad that you had such a good day at home. Hope everything goes perfect for Jacob's Baptism tomorrow!
baptism?!. That doesn't seem possible. How is it that that little 4 year-old is 8?!. In my mind he hasn't aged since the first time I met him.
