My neighbor gave me the idea to freeze my kids cereal bowls the night before and give them a Frozen Cereal bowl for a April Fools trick. It worked great, I wish I would have remembered to take a picture. The BEST was Jack, he stuck his spoon in his milk, said "hun" when it didn't go all the way in, tried again a few times then finally ignored it and ate his cereal. Funny funny boys... we also made cupcakes with trick candles in them. It was a good April fools!
However I did find out that a friend of mine who I went to high school with and reconnected with on facebook passed away. I was in shock, not sure how I felt, I hurt for her family, I hurt for her (is that possible to hurt for someone who has gone ahead of us)? I hurt for the loss of her children, for the loss of her earthy memories she will miss. I don't know how to describe it, I just felt so much pain and a little bit of anger.
