Yesterday was sick day and we all watched Nanny McPhie in my bed... ALL OF US! Aiden has a sore throat, Charlee is still sick, I don't feel well and well I think Day light savings time took Brian by surprise.
The person you need is NANNY MCPHIE! I loved watching this show, I really think my kids understood that children need to behave and listen. The greatest understanding of this show was, as Aiden put it "when we are good and do what we are told, then EVERYONE is happy!"
I was quick to point out when the children were naughty then Nanny McPhie was ugly, as the children began to behave and listen the ugly moles, nose, spots, teeth all went away. I asked the boys, if I have to ask you to do something over and over and you still don't do it... that is when I turn into Nanny McPhie, right! Making a funny face I chased them around the room saying "the person you need is Nanny McPhie, the person yooooouuuuu NNEEEEED is NANNNNY MCPHIE!"
So our kids now get the lecture... "listening makes them HAPPY."
