Ready set.... GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Jack and Charlee love to race. Jack is so great to let Charlee win and he is very careful when he races with her. When Charlee wakes up in the morning she walks around the house calling Jack Jack. She sits at the window waiting for Jack and Aiden to come home from school. As soon as they walk in the door she gives them loves and wants to RACE. Race into the kitchen to EAT!
This is the pile of Hair left on my bathroom floor! ONLY 3 little boys!
Tonight was Chicken Fried Rice. A big shout out to my Friend Wendy who finally after many years has taught me the fine art of making yummy fried rice. Another shout out to Poloncic for teaching me the joys of homemade egg rolls. I usually bake them, but I decided fried sounded GOOD!
I guess you realize that you are getting older when you recognize that you have learned a lot of things since you were first married. I love that I now know some of the basics to Asian cooking, enough that I don't need a recipe and I have most things on hand. This sauce was "hot" and very flavorful. I wish I would have made the kung pao chicken this hot!
Last I would like to recognize my sister in law Jody for introducing me to "petite" baby carrots. I love them, and I didn't need (however I should have) to cut them. It made my prep time much faster. Now I need to get a recipe written up so I can email it off to SOOZ for our cookbook.
4 hours of skiing followed by a nice WAX!
Last story... Brian is a very clean man. I laugh at his little cleansing shower routine. From the way he scrubs between each toe to how many scrub/rubs/circles he does while shampooing (is that a word) his hair. Rowser girls... do your husbands use toilet tissue to clean ears? Weird, anyway that is another subject.
Brian took the kids to school today but he usually has had a shower before he goes. He let me sleep in, so nice, but when he got up with the kids he said "btw there is Gum in our bed." HOw did that happen, mmmmm the boys watched cartoons in here yesterday.
When he came home from dropping the kids off I was surprised, as I think was he, that he asked if he could go skiing and I said yes. I can list the number of times he has not showered every day on one hand (since we have been married) He didn't want to wait and shower I guess... I think he was afraid I would change my mind, so he just left. (BTW it is not like he was super stinky or anything he had showered the night before after the hot tub.) Later he called me and told me he would be home later than normal because he had forgotten he still needed to go get an EKG (for his flight medical) and he had been able to get an appointment.
I guess he was embarrassed as he walked into his appointment from skiing for the last 4 hours, appologizing to the nurse. Then as he went to take off his shirt.... YOU GUESSED IT GUM! What is this he said as he removed it off his stomach with a patch of hair? OUCH!
Always remember... don't be to quick to judge!
I am sure the nurse would not recognize the nicely dressed well groomed Brian that we often see. FUNNY! I guess it was, at least for me. However, as I began to change the sheets I discovered we had gum everywhere, it was in several places on Brian's side, back, tummy, and several more places on his garments and our sheets! I still can't get it all out... that is another project. Anyway, the nurse had him lay down and began to place the leads/STICKY on his body. When everything was finished the nurse had him begin to take the sticky pads off. After he was all finished and had a nice wax from the gum and the 24 leads, the nurse walked back into the room and said "it didn't save, I need to do it again." OUCH!
SIDE NOTE: Brian had 6 hairs on his chest when we got married.... he has a bit more now but he is not what you would call a hairy man.
He questioned the nurse asking if she was just looking for hair to put the leads on?

It must be a Rowser boy thing because Brad cleans his ears like that all of the time. It's nuts. But they do a lot of weird little things like that. I think Brad washes every inch of his body daily as well. We go through a LOT of soap around here!
Yikes!! All that mess in the bed?
Clean men are good men!! Wish I had a clean man!!
