noodles and broth

Brian made our meal swap meal tonight because I have been helping my mom in the hospital. He bought everything he needed at the store, cooked it and delivered it. Then he invited his mother over for dinner. When he told her that he had taken this over to two other families for our meal swap, Suzanne was a bit embarrassed.
Brian made what he calls Noodles and Broth, he told me he had issues with portion control and that he made enough for the entire neighborhood. Noodles and broth is just that, it is extra wide egg noodles in Campbell's beef broth. He served it with some rolls and it was simple and yet delicious. Thanks Brian for taking care of the kids, but please stop rubbing it in on how well you do everything. I am getting a little depressed.

Throw sweet Charlie at him for a day and see how well he can keep up then:) That soup sounds so good. I might request that for dinner during the holidays. BYW-we need to do things together soon. no excuses.

depressed? oh jen...take a look back at your other meal swap posts...how fancily you arranged your plates of delectible food. They are lovely.
...then just listen..."noodles & broth"
...now think of your beautifully arranged plates....
did that make you feel better or worse?? :)

it WAS delicious, the cranes slurpped it right up! Thanks Brian. As for Jen doing everything, you do and you know it so don't let ONE meal bother you!
