Brian came home from sunny Mexico (Cabo) to winter in Heber.
We took the boys out for a night of bowling and our friends "the Cranes" came with their two cute girls. Kelsey (5) is in Jacobs kindergarten class and Kendal is Jack's age.
Kelsey had been to our house a few times and was always disappointed to find that we do not have "girl toys." No Polly pockets, my little ponies, and no Barbie's. We just don't know how to play. She did like Star wars games until Jacob put a light saber in her eye.
I did find a Polly pocket car (with full trunk mirror, wardrobe, and place for shoes) and a cute modest barbie at the thrift store so she would have something to play with when she comes over. Jack loves the car "a little to much" Daddy says!

Aiden and Jacob did very well and had a lot of fun. Jack and Kendal took turns (as well as 2 1/2 year olds take turns.)
Brian and Matt (Crane) spoke about hunting and how they both have weird cover freak wives. Poor Matt had traveled all over the state today and still came, he was so tired. Thanks Matt for being such a good sport, we loved hanging out with you.
The highlight of the night, was Kendal's first ball. Sweet little girl, she carefully picks her ball up and walks with mom to the ball guide. Rachel helps her roll it down the guide. Rachel is looking on at the ball slowly rolling down lane #3. She suddenly sees Goosey Kendal running after the ball on the slick waxed lanes.
Rachel sprints after Kendal who is going down lane #3 faster than the ball. Two or three steps in and Rachel and Kendal both fall. It was like Rachel had no legs under her, they were there and then they were gone. I have a picture of that one in my head and still chuckle.

Thanks for the play by play of my crash and burn Jen!
I didn't mention the scores and neither did you. What is wrong with us?
The kids totally whipped me, and Brian and Jen are great bowlers. They probably won't ever bowl with us again!!
