We have been told by a couple people that "Aiden has the potential to be a very expensive child." Well it all began on a lovely Friday evening, all was well with the world and Brian was preparing to take down our beautiful fireplace! Not sure why still, I like flipping a switch, but nevertheless prepared he was. I was at the kitchen sink and suddenly I had no water. I turned to Brian and said "where did the water go" at the same time Aiden came inside and said "water!" Aiden what happened?
Aiden had seen a 10 ft water key sticking out of a pipe on our front retaining wall. He decided to play dynamite and pull up on the key and slam it down as hard as he could so the dynamite (pretend) would go off. Well water shot up the pipe instead... Brian began to dig.

Then he called his buddy Wylder and they both took turns digging, and digging...

Until late late Friday night this is what they had.

The next morning it was my job to stand by the hole with Cell phone in hand and watch if the hole started to cave in on Brian so he would be able to leap as high as he could so he could get air! CRAZY

Brian worked in the morning and by early afternoon had the stop and waste that was cracked out and ready to go and get parts. He ran to the store and came back with the same Stop and Waste, they were out. He decided he would have to get the pipe out himself and reuse the stop and waste but replace the broken pipe. Well he didn't want to strip the threads so he worked at that pipe for awhile then decided that he should get a torch and melt the pipe out, "and he did, and he liked it!" (movie line)

Brian was unable to move for a few days after this, but he did get it fixed. Luckily we had only small cave ins and no one was hurt. I made the boys sleep in my room so in the morning we would hear them and make sure they didn't go outside and fall in the hole! The rainbow picture was taken well before this incident, notice our Armada in the back ground, below the wheel on the corner of the sidewalk is where Brian was working.

Notice below the huge landscape rock, Brian tried to move it, it was too heavy so he tried to pull it with the 4 wheeler still too heavy. However Brian felt it safe to hollow out under it and work on his knees in the bottom of the hole. Okay he knew it wasn't safe but he felt like we also needed water!

And by Saturday evening this is what I had! Looks awesome, the potentila is a little muddy and a couple plants got squished but over all pretty nice!
