Candy, Pirate telescope, blow dart

Okay WARNING: not sure this is one of those things you even should blog about! Read at your own RISK.

Jacob came outside this evening holding a Tampon Lite Box! Charlee thought it was CANDY and took goods down to the boys who were playing in the basement. Jacob had come outside to let me know that Aiden had opened one and was playing with it. I took the box and came inside, OBVIOUSLY Aiden was playing with something. You could see the I didn't do it look all over his face. I told him that they were mine and that he needed to not mess with them.

We argued for quite a while over what they were for etc...
Aiden: Just tell me mama,
Me: No Aiden they are mama's things
Aiden: Please
Me: It is my bathroom things, like my make up, for girls only.
Aiden: Why won't you just tell me, PLEASE!
I finally won the argument by letting him know I would tell him when he is 9 years old. He seemed fine with that.
REALLY????  It is that easy to put at ease the mind of a 6 year old!  WOW, who knew.

Anyway back to our story. Jacob informed me that Jack too was playing with one downstairs, I went to go and get it and found Jack coming up the stairs with the applicator against his eye moving the larger cardboard over the smaller and say "my NEW telescope." Hey we did just make his room into a pirate room, Why not have a mini tampon telescope.

Oh wait it gets better!

So I decided two cardboard tubes that make a mini telescope would be harmless right. I let Jack continue to play with his telescope. Soon I found him outside with a small bag of Trix Cereal. He was loading the Trix into the cardboard and what was once a telescope had now become a blow dart! WOW my kids have it all!

I decided that maybe a blow dart had taken it a bit too far and took the "toys" away!

I can't stop laughing-- Can you imagine the neighbors faces if they saw your boys walking around with those "dart guns" in their mouths! That's so gross.
