Happy Anniversary

I received a message from Rachel last night telling me "Happy anniversary!"  I thought, silly Rach my anniversary is in August.  Then she said "it was 5 years ago that I first met you at stake volleyball game.  You were wearing you skinny black pants and were so happy and nice" or something like that.  I started to think about it, I don't remember that but I remember a crazy girl came to cheer for their ward in her cheerleader outfit with pom pom's.  Her boys were all dressed a like and I thought to myself "I want to be on her hand me down list." (that is just how I am)  She had signs and cheers made up.  I went over and held a pom pom and yelled a cheer with her because she was just so fun.  Any Guesses?  (Amanda Jones)
Anyway, it made me think about what was going on 5 years ago.  Five years ago Jack was 2 months old, we had just found out that Jacob was a diabetic a short 24 days ago, my parents received a mission call to Australia and I never thought I would make it 18 months without my mom. 
I don't know exactly when I met Rachel, I remember some of the first meetings but I don't remember details.  I do know that I am a better person because of her.  I am ever grateful for our meeting and am touched that she thought to call me yesterday and wish me a happy anniversary!  Love ya Rach
